Technically a supergroup – the Demon is a trio of musicians hailing from Seacoast legends such as Groovechild, The Screen, One Hand Free, Solid8 and Say Zuzu. Formed in 2011 by Kelly Bower (Hammond Organ) he was quickly joined by Steve Ruhm (Drums) and Rob Ziminsky (Guitar) who also shared the vision of musical chaos.

Best described as a boxing match with three live and unique contenders, the Demon pits classic rock against free jazz against metal. The battle unfolds in real time, as the fighters not only unleash their individual attack strategies - but also frequently tag-team in pairs against the third. The victor of course is always the listener, who has a ringside seat to one of the most unique trios the seacoast has seen in decades. Don't let the instrumentation fool you – this is not your uncle's organ trio. Amidst the scream of the Hammond, the deep interlock between the drums and tonewheel bass, and searing attacks of guitar fury – the Demon draws upon familiar elements to bring the listener into the performance, while twisting their senses inside out with subtle madness.

Bower explains, “Inside of you, inside of me, inside of everyone there's a suppressed desire to completely let go and tear things up – without any regard to society, laws, or repercussions. From a musical perspective – that's what we strive to unchain – and to let loose. That's the Demon.”

The Demon is:

Kelly Bower - Hammond Organ
Rob Ziminsky - Guitar
Steve Ruhm - Drums
